CPflight FCU320PRO is a full-scale replica of the AIRBUS FLIGHT CONTROL UNIT. The module is complete and ready to use and interface with Microsoft Flight Simulator and P3D. It is compatible with Project Magenta, PROSIM A320 and Jeehell A320. Soon will be compatible also with XP11/XP12 most used addon.
FCU320 is connected through Ethernet cable and uses a TCPIP connection.
FCU320PRO can be interfaced with Microsoft Simulator FS2020 and P3D through Project Magenta FCU, PROSIM A320 or Jeehell. The hardware establishes an interface with the addon. Note that logics, operating modes and aircraft behavior are managed the addon that manages all the hardware annunciators' status.
FCU320PRO is equipped with high-quality level components. Original GrayHill® optical encoders with PUSH/PULL functionality, and custom display LCD gives a high fidelity performance and a never seen kind of realism. Knobs are made in aluminum dust-coated with symbols on HDG and VS knobs. FCU320PRO has warm white backlight.
FCU320 is supplied with wide expansion capability through the 4 pole auxiliary socket. This allows you to connect and interface CPflight plug&play expansion modules ( EFIS CP, EFIS FO and all MIP and Pedestal modules).
Based on a 16 bit microcontroller, CPflight FCU is supplied with 4 digital encoders able to command all functions as you may find on a real FCU Flight Control Unit.
The custom backlighted LCD display assures perfect management of all display labels like a real FCU. You can regulate the display brightness to always have a perfect relation with the environment light.
The flash memory technology of the microcontroller gives you a simple way to upgrade the built-in operating program (firmware). This feature allows updating your FCU with improvements and future expansions.
FCU320 firmware provides an internal program mode to configure the main preferences in the hardware functionality ( IP address, External or internal Backlight and display brightness regulation..... ).
Is always warmly suggested to install the CPflight driver. This will put on your PC the test FCU application that is very useful for setup and testing the hardware. ( Recommended for the first setup). In this case you will be able to make the first test to check if all is ok before running with the used addon.
